Vacancy: Finance Assistant
We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team in Salford.
The resources consist of five workshops that can be delivered in churches and wider groups. The sessions are based on the pastoral cycle, so that participants follow the cycle from experience, analysis, reflection, action to evaluation.
The resources are designed to help people explore the relationships between faith and justice, and think about how this relates to their own faith and call to work for justice.
They’re especially useful for people who are engaged in social action in their church or community, and want space to reflect on the values and theology behind it, and understand how they can also challenge they unjust structures that cause poverty.
We developed the materials for Leeds Justice and Peace Commission, who have run a successful pilot of the workshops and are planning to run more in the future.
We will be running a training day in Manchester in October for anyone interested in leading the course in their church or group.
