Church Action on Poverty Sunday resources

Lunch resources

Keep the conversation flowing and learn more about why Church Action on Poverty exists. We’ve got placemats that your congregation can add your prayers or messages to; conversation cards on the theme of food, faith & fellowship; and flyers to make it easier for guests to donate. 

  • Flyers for the table – Please place one or two on every table.
  • Conversation cards – Print a few copies, cut the cards out, and distribute them around the tables
  • Placemats – Print as many as you need, and ask your guests to write their own prayer or message, and send us a picture.

Art resources

We have three stunning ‘tablescape’ paintings, reflecting the theme of food, faith and fellowship. They have been created by Susan Bence, a Church Action on Poverty supporter and talented artist. Each is accompanied by a suggested scripture reading, and conversation prompts.

  • Art pack – Print the pages to display on your wall. A3 is best, but A4 will work if you don’t have an A3 printer.
